Gilmore Pond from the trail
This area is one of the newest public open space areas in the town. The open space winds through the Orchards, Orchard Hill, and Pheasant Hill developments, leaving a thin slice of the open space where a large tract of farmland had been a little over a decade ago.
The area includes Gilmore Pond the headwaters of Jackstraw Brook.
