This area is comprised of the WCLT Oak Bluffs parcel and land held by the Oak Bluffs Homeowners' Association. Prior to development the land was used as a gravel pit, and the effects of that operation can still be seen in the area.

Trails in this area are short and grassy. One of them leads to the banks of the Assabet River, which is relatively narrow at this point. The property can be used as an alternative to the dangerous canoe put-in at Route 9. While described in Ron McAdow's The Concord, Sudbury and Assabet Rivers: A Guide to Canoeing, Wildlife and History, this is a tough area to canoe and is not recommended.
